For many years, the sacred process of creating expressive works, guided by an unwavering fascination with color, light, and human nature has consumed me, body and soul. The decades of painting professionally continue to bring me joy and satisfaction, as the new ways of visually encountering what it means to be human, constantly evolving, allowing me to change alongside it. Both in the creative act of painting and in the evolution of the process whereby I create, I am constantly confronting the beauty and sublime essence of the human condition through my work.
I began to paint and sculpt at five years old in my childhood home of Mexico City. Through the years, my work and creative process as an artist continue to evolve, and this state of change energizes me. I feel strongly that we should embrace this flux and harness it to experience the beauty and grandeur of life from a unique perspective. For it is in the pursuit of experimentation that growth occurs. As a painter, I am continually seeking to evolve and explore new techniques, break the conventions of established parameters, and renew the creative process from scratch. In this constant search, I discovered the possibilities of sculpture.
For me, my purpose as an artist is and has always been to arouse, evoke, and channel the Spirit. The Abstract, the Figurative and the Castings are the integration of a powerful narrative that has allowed my Collectors and those who view my works on Exhibition and in Fine Art Galleries to connect with the works. Painting and sculpting are acts of continuous self-discovery, and this journey allows me to ceaselessly create and interrogate the majestic mysteries of the human Spirit.
